What is PVCC?
PVCC is Canada’s largest student-run venture capital conference and competition where participants showcase their abilities in either the entrepreneurship stream or the venture capital stream. With our unique value proposition of business acumen and technical knowledge, we attracted over 30 universities across the world this year.
When and where is the conference? And directions
PVCC 2017 Conference is taking place on March 23 at Fairmont Waterfront in Vancouver, BC.

What time is the conference?
The PVCC 2017 Conference is a day long conference going from 10:00am-8:40pm including a morning coffee break, lunch, and dinner. Morning check-in starts at 9:30am.
How many people are in attendance?
400 people would be in attendance.
What is the student to professionals ratio?
The student to professionals ratio would be about 3:1 for the networking and dinner portion of the evening.
Can anyone get a ticket? How much are tickets? What does a ticket include?
Yes! Anyone can buy a ticket. Tickets are $50 for a Sauder/CUS Student and $60 for all External students/ professionals. A ticket includes access for the whole day event at Fairmont Waterfront: keynote speakers, workshops, lunch, final round of the competition, networking, and dinner.

Who is running the workshops? How many workshops are there?
There are 4 workshops to choose from:
- Women in Business Workshop by Nicole Verkindt
- Founders Panel Workshop featuring Connie Linder, Fraser Hall, and Jason Smith
- Lean Business and raising capital workshop by Spring
- VC simulation by Agentis
Workshop selection is based on first come first serve.
When do ticket sales close?

Do I need to be a competitor to participate in the conference?
No. Anyone can attend the conference.
What is the dress code? Should I bring business cards?
Dress code is business formal. Of course you should bring your business cards!
