2016-2017 PVCC COMPETITION

The Pacific Venture Capital Competition brings out the unique nature of the Venture Capital industry – a competition that creates interactions between entrepreneurship and financial valuation. Contestants can compete either as an Entrepreneurship team or Venture Capital team.

There will be coaching and mentoring opportunities throughout the competition, and to top it off will be our conference featuring over 350 students and 100 business delegates for you to connect with other students and industry professionals in the entrepreneurship or VC field.

Entrepreneurship Stream Deadlines:

First Round (Business Plan & Video): January 31, 2017

Second Round (Live Pitch): Feburary 16, 2017

Third Round (Live Pitch): February 27, 2017

Final Round (Live Pitch at the Conference): March 23, 2017

 

Venture Capital Stream Deadlines:

Venture Capital Case Dissemination: January 25, 2017

First Round (Case Submission): February 4, 2017

Second Round (Video Submission): February 22, 2017

Third Round (Pitch Book Submission): March 8, 2017

Final Round (Live Presentation at the Conference): March 23, 2017

 

COMPETITION STRUCTURE

The competition structure is broken down into 4 rounds, with the final round happening at the Fairmont Hotel in Vancouver at the end of March. The competition structure is as follows:
